Where have we been?

Well, we have made it to Provo and man is it an adjustment, but I absolutely love it! We're back in the tiny little house we lived in when we were first married. It's small, but we like the rent price! We don't have the internet working yet in this house, so I have been using Aaron's little laptop when the wifi feels like working, so I can't post pics of Emma...so sorry! But as soon as it's up and running, I have plenty of pictures to put up. She has figured out how to eat that's for sure. Her cheeks and chins are adorable! We just blessed her this past Sunday. It was such a neat experience and Aaron did a wonderful job. Parenthood is wonderful. Enjoy the fourth of July and hopefully I'll get our blog updated sooner than later.
PS-Congrats to Sarah and Troy, they had a baby boy, Caden Owen Naef this past Monday. Feel free to check him out at https://birthprint.com/ecommerce/view_baby. They had this done from a little kiosk in the hospital. The baby id is 162927 I think he's a mini mexi-Troy! We love you guys!

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jog!

Guess who doesn't have to live away from her family anymore...Emma! Aaron has decided that he wants to go back to BYU after all. So he turned in his deposit money and it's back to school for us. He's doing an internship in Provo this summer and then he'll start after Labor Day. As for Emma and I, we can't wait to be able to go and play outside in the nice Utah weather. The moving truck comes Wednesday and we're outta Vegas on Friday. We will really miss the friends we've made, but definitely not the city itself. Aaron has now started to think of ways that he can play as much as possible, yet go to school at the same time...i.e soccer and skiing.

Sweet Dreams

We are starting to get used to bedtime routine. It has been so nice. I wanted to follow the book Baby Wise, but Emma wasn't exactly the Baby Wise child! However, this past week she has started to sleep for about 5 hours straight through the night. That is on one condition, she can start out in her crib, but then end up in our bed! Oh well, she's happy and I get some sleep, so it all works out.

Memorial Day Fun

What would Memorial Day be without a BBQ. The whole fam went over to some friends house Monday afternoon and we had a blast. It was so funny b/c we were the only couple there that has only one child--there were definitely more kids there than parents. Aaron and I realized when we left that we have only just begun! Of course, I had fun getting Emma dressed up cute to go out and play. Thank Granny J for this outfit:)

Pretty in Pink

We made it to church again today, only five minutes late! Of course she wanted to start eating again about twenty minutes before church started, thank goodness for formula. She looked so cute in her little outfit (thanks katie sano for the dress...it's one of the few that fit her when she's still so small). She is getting really good at eye contact from further distances and starting to make such adorable faces. We're getting closer and closer to cooing. I just love her! (fyi...her bow was not in the center of her head at church! I just noticed that in the pics..:)

What is the Meaning of Life?

When Papa Vance saw Emma for the first time, the very first thing he said was "she looks thoughtful." I must say this picture proves his point entirely. Either she's in deep thought, or she's wondering when mom is going to take the goofy, yet adorable bow off of her head.

Splish Splash

It might appear as though she wasn't having too much fun, but this was her very first real bath. After a week of these though, she's started to enjoy them a bit more. Plus the fact that I feed her right before might help a bit.
