Most kids want a drink of water before they go to bed...but not these babies. Their cheeks prove that fact! The cookies were frozen so we figured they couldn't get that much of it, but somehow they managed to get their fill.

Easter Vacation

I know this is the cheater way to blog a vacation...but hey it works. Easter was so much fun this year. We headed down to Arizona again to enjoy the nice weather. (Thanks to my mom, I have some pictures of the trip.) We just spent the days at the pool while the boys would play golf. We figured if we got in some exercise in the morning, we could justify our veggin' the rest of the day. For the actual Easter Sunday we attempted to fly up to Reno because Kelly, Aaron's sister, was giving her homecoming speech. This, however, was not exactly what happened. We got to the airport with plenty of time to make our 8:12 a.m. flight. For some reason when we attempted to check in, it didn't have us in the computer. So we went and stood in line to talk to a person. We got up to the counter and probably got the worst Delta agent possible...(She was not having a very happy Easter.) She said, there's no 8:12 am flight, but there is an 8:12pm flight, that yes, we had booked by accident. So...she booked us on the next flight available. Turns out one of our bags was too heavy, so we put some stuff in Aaron's golf bag. She told Aaron that a golf bag was only for golf clubs and shoes. Then, before Aaron finished closing the bag, she wripped it off the scale and chucked it onto the conveyor belt...so guess whose bag was broken when we got it in Reno? You guessed it...she had snapped the buckled right in half when she chucked it. And, worst of all , by the time we got to Reno, we had missed Kelly's homecoming, by about an hour and a half. But, we stayed in Reno until Monday night and got to see lots of family. If you're wondering where the pics are of Reno and Kelly...I don't have any b/c my camera was broken...so sorry!

Happy Easter...better late than never

I promise I will get around to updating our blog next week, especially now that I have made that promise public. As an excuse though, my camera decided to not work right after I recorded Aaron's sister, Kelly running up to hug her brother for the first time in a year and a half...welcome home Kelly! (now the camera works...of course, after our trips to Arizona and Reno!)
