Visit from our cousins

Allie and her two sweet kids, Brock and Riley came into town for a visit over Valentine's week. We don't get to see them nearly enough, but it was so fun to catch up for an afternoon together. Doesn't her little Riley have the cutest red hair?

Little R&R

I'm pretty sure that books are one of Emma's favorite things. She definitely got that trait from her Dad. I love that she has her legs crossed, it just goes to show how relaxed she is!

Lake Tahoe

Of course, this is the only picture I have of our date over Christmas up to Lake Tahoe. Needless to say, the sunset was gorgeous. We met some of our friends up there, the Craig's and had some mouth-watering 'all you can eat' sushi. I've been craving the rainbow roll for a couple months now.

Trial Run

Believe it or not, this was Emma's first time actually sledding this whole season. I'd say by the looks of things, we should have started this a bit earlier in winter.

By the time Emma was done opening her presents, she had the saying "So tute" down.

Tradition

Lisa gave me the idea to do pajamas and a book every Christmas Eve, (that's what they did in her family and I think it's adorable.) So we started that tradition this year. Emma's pj's were a little big, but she loved the book. Hopefully this tradition can continue.

What we woke up to Christmas Day

Christmas Eve night and most of Christmas day brought tons of snow. It made for a gorgeous, vintage Christmas.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning in Reno. It was sooo much fun. Of course, Emma was well taken care of, and that's quite an understatement. No one can seem to stop themselves when they are getting little kid stuff..it's just too cute.

Frankenstein

Yes, this would be nail polish! She unscrewed the cap in record time and spilled it all over her hands and head. She didn't even get a single drop on any of her nails!
